The new Middle School plan includes the opportunity to receive up to an additional 20% state reimbursement bonus, which potentially reduces the overall cost from $167 million to approximately $75 million. This opportunity will expire in June 2024.

The new Middle School building will feature a brand new cafeteria, capable of preparing all meals on site. The size of the cafeteria will allow each grade level to have their own lunch period.

The new middle school will feature state-of-the-art energy efficiency, which will bring greatly improved air quality for teachers and students, as well as energy cost savings for taxpayers.

The new Middle School building will feature a brand new 8,000 square foot gymnasium, capable of accommodating all students in one space. The new gym will include multi-use courts, spectator seating, and a divider for space flexibility.

The $167 million School Bond includes the construction of a new, 144,000 square foot Middle School on the Davisville/McGinn site. The facility will house 900 students in grades 6-8. Also included in the bond is approximately $37 million for additional district-wide building repairs and improvements.

The new Middle School building will feature a performing arts auditorium capable of seating 450 people. This space will provide our students with opportunities to showcase their talents and thrive as learners.

Our vision is to design facilities that support educators and students to thrive in 21st century learning environments that provide opportunities for students to not only learn from the instruction provided by their teachers, but also from the design and systems that we create within the school building.

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. (Rober Collier)
